The X Takeover event, which has evolved from its original Tesla-centric scope, is set to feature prominent figures in its upcoming gathering. After announcing Tesla’s design chief as a speaker, the event has now confirmed entrepreneur Jared Isaacman, leader of the Polaris Program, as another keynote presenter. Scheduled for July 27-28 at The Madonna Inn fields in California, the event offers early bird passes for $40 until April 30.
Keynote Themes: Entrepreneurship and Innovation
Isaacman is slated to discuss his transition from entrepreneurship to space exploration in his talk “From Entrepreneurship to the Cosmos: A Journey of Inspiration.” This complements the theme of von Holzhausen’s presentation on the future of automotive innovation. Isaacman, who also serves as CEO of Shift4 Payments, is known for funding and leading Inspiration4, the first all-civilian spaceflight, which was later featured in a Netflix documentary.
Event Expansion and Charitable Contributions
The X Takeover is broadening its focus beyond Tesla, incorporating enthusiasts of SpaceX, Elon Musk’s other ventures, and the wider electric vehicle industry. With over 60 exhibitors last year and more expected this year, the event also supports charitable causes, donating a portion of ticket sales to 17 Strong and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the latter of which benefited from Isaacman’s space mission with Musk’s significant contribution.
The event’s agenda includes various attractions such as inspirational keynotes, influencer meet-and-greets, a Cybertruck showcase, and more. The previous events featured Maye Musk and Sandy Munro as keynote speakers and attracted around 2,000 attendees, with expectations for up to 3,000 participants this year.
Given the event’s popularity and limited space, Tesla Owners Silicon Valley encourages prompt registration to secure attendance at this exciting gathering of innovators and industry enthusiasts.
