In an unprecedented move for World Series coverage, FOX Sports is set to deploy a trio of aerial drones. This new approach promises enhanced angles of relief pitchers entering from the bullpen, pitchers exiting the mound, and other unique moments, bringing viewers closer to the action. FOX’s collaboration with Beverly Hills Aerials, the drone manufacturer and operator, ensures the seamless integration of this cutting-edge technology.

Despite their 4K camera capabilities, these drones will deliver a crisp 1080p HDR broadcast, adding a new dimension to in-game highlights. Notably, only one drone will soar at any given moment, with its pilot strategically stationed in the outfield.

Enhancing Viewer Experience

Adding to this technological feat, FOX has introduced the UmpCam – a first-of-its-kind perspective straight from the home plate umpire’s mask. This camera positions fans right in the umpire’s shoes, especially during ball/strike decisions and during riveting on-field sequences.

Complementing these innovations, FOX Sports’ World Series broadcast boasts an arsenal of 52 cameras. These include the overhead FlyCam, DirtCams situated around the bases, Super Motion cameras, and RF cameras. An overwhelming array of over 100 microphones promises to capture every cheer, shout, and on-field chatter, immersing viewers in the ballpark’s atmosphere.

Star-Studded Coverage

FOX Sports’ World Series coverage shines with its roster of seasoned experts. The likes of Derek Jeter, David Ortiz, and Alex Rodriguez grace the Emmy Award-winning FOX MLB studio desk, bringing with them a treasure trove of experience from their illustrious careers.

Joe Davis spearheads the commentary booth, supported by John Smoltz. Together with renowned reporters like Ken Rosenthal and Tom Verducci, they promise unparalleled insights into the games.

Digital Reach

Beyond television, FOX Sports ensures fans remain connected digitally. Platforms like FOXSports.com and @MLBonFOX on social media will be buzzing with highlights, interviews, and real-time updates. Special digital features, including live streams of batting practices and pre-game warm-ups, are in place to amplify the World Series experience for fans worldwide.

Community Engagement

In a heartwarming initiative, FOX Sports Supports has joined forces with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. With the introduction of the FOX Sports World Series Scholarship, deserving youths stand a chance to benefit from scholarships. The inaugural scholarship will be presented by Alex Rodriguez, a former Club kid himself, to a deserving candidate during World Series Game 2.

FOX Sports’ comprehensive, tech-driven approach for the World Series coverage between the Texas Rangers and the Arizona Diamondbacks redefines sports broadcasting. From aerial drone perspectives to in-depth analyses by baseball legends, the network promises an unmatched viewing experience. As the world tunes in, it’s evident that the future of sports broadcasting is here.
