Feb. 13, 2024 – NASA invites members of the media to cover an upcoming event at ASCENDxTexas on February 15, where space exploration and development will take center stage. Vanessa Wyche, the director of NASA’s Johnson Space Center, is set to speak alongside key figures from the Texas A&M University System. The discussion will center around the latest developments at Exploration Park, with an opportunity for interviews following the updates.

Wyche’s appearance at the conference, held at South Shore Harbour Resort and Conference Center in League City, Texas, highlights the agency’s commitment to innovation and collaboration in space ventures. She will be joined by John Sharp, Chancellor of the Texas A&M University System, and Texas A&M University President Mark Welsh. These leaders will share insights into the progress and future plans for Exploration Park, which has been seeking proposals for its unused land since June 2023.
