Sateliot’s Unique Position in Satellite Connectivity

Sateliot distinguishes itself by operating within the 3GPP Standard framework, which is also used by tech leaders such as Apple, Sony, and Samsung. This framework allows current narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) devices to connect via Sateliot’s constellation at costs similar to terrestrial networks. This development marks a significant step toward expanding IoT accessibility to previously unreachable areas.

Expansion of Sateliot’s Satellite Constellation

The agreement will enable Sateliot to deploy four additional 6U satellites—Sateliot_1, Sateliot_2, Sateliot_3, and Sateliot_4—on Exolaunch’s Transporter-11 Rideshare mission with SpaceX, scheduled for mid-2024. These satellites will join Sateliot’s existing 250-satellite constellation, enhancing global 5G NB-IoT connectivity.

Exolaunch’s Role and Technology

Exolaunch will provide mission management, integration support, and its EXOpod Nova satellite separation system for the deployment. The EXOpod Nova system is renowned for its innovative and reliable performance, ensuring the successful deployment of Sateliot’s satellites.

Previously, Exolaunch has collaborated with various companies to support satellite deployment missions. The partnership with Sateliot adds to its portfolio, reflecting the growing demand for reliable deployment services in the satellite industry. Sateliot has also been in the news for its pioneering efforts to offer global IoT connectivity through its satellite constellation, a vision that this partnership aims to further.

Both companies have expressed their enthusiasm for the collaboration. Sateliot’s CEO emphasized the importance of this partnership for advancing their mission, while Exolaunch’s mission manager highlighted their dedication to supporting innovative companies. This collaboration underscores the mutual benefits and shared goals of both organizations.

Exolaunch’s expertise and proven track record in satellite deployment, combined with Sateliot’s innovative approach to IoT connectivity, are expected to yield significant advancements in global satellite connectivity. This partnership represents a strategic alignment of capabilities and objectives, aiming to push the boundaries of current connectivity solutions.
