Monster Hunter Wilds introduces more extensive customization compared to previous titles in the series. The new photo mode and enhanced hunter profiles build upon the customization foundations established in earlier games, allowing players to showcase their unique styles more vividly.

Photo Mode Features

Monster Hunter Wilds incorporates a photo mode that allows players to adjust the camera view and depth of field, enabling the capture of in-game moments. The feature also supports pausing the game, facilitating the perfect shot. While current options are basic, further enhancements are anticipated based on initial showcases.

Enhanced Hunter Profiles

The replacement of guild cards with hunter profiles provides a more dynamic way to display player achievements. Users can now include photos taken in photo mode, select preset poses, and customize various elements such as nameplates and backgrounds.

“This feature allows players to express their unique hunting styles,”

explained Capcom during the showcase.

Exclusive Customization Options

Additional customization options include layered armor, seikret personalization, and the ability to modify the camping tent’s decor and music. Special nameplates are available for players who have save data from Monster Hunter: World and Iceborne. Pre-ordering the game unlocks unique cosmetic items, and deluxe editions offer further exclusive content priced at $90 and $110 on Steam.

Monster Hunter Wilds’ expanded customization features are expected to appeal to players who enjoy personalizing their gaming experience. The integration of photo mode and advanced hunter profiles provides ample opportunities for creative expression. As the release date approaches, these enhancements may contribute to a more immersive and personalized hunting adventure.
