UK-based company Autocraft EV Solutions, specializing in electric vehicle (EV) battery testing, repair, and remanufacturing, has announced the commencement of its operations at a new facility located in Arnhem, the Netherlands. This strategic move underlines the company’s commitment to servicing the growing EV market in Europe by offering localised repair services that can handle up to 1,340 battery packs annually.
The Arnhem center is designed to facilitate efficient and environmentally friendly logistics for battery transportation, being well-connected to both road and sea transport routes. Autocraft EV Solutions has also introduced its REVIVE Mobile service—a portable EV battery service center that features an innovative 30 ft ISO expandable container, complete with the company’s proprietary Augmented Reality Interactive Assembly (ARIA) system, LiDAR controls, RFID tools, and rigorous safety systems to manage processes.
Autocraft’s mobile facility represents a stepping stone towards establishing a more permanent footprint in strategic locations, offering interim repair services until fixed REVIVE Workshops can be set up. This model is part of a broader plan to expand Autocraft’s services globally with a similar mobile-to-permanent approach.
Mike Hague-Morgan, Executive Director of Autocraft Solutions Group, emphasized the company’s role in supporting European original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in their endeavor to meet performance standards and adopt sustainable circularity practices. This new European facility highlights Autocraft’s dedication to providing high-quality services in line with the industry’s environmental and operational objectives.
