The company has designated unique firmware identifiers for each model: S901USQS4DWLG for the Galaxy S22, S906USQS4DWLG for the S22 Plus, and S908USQS4DWLG for the S22 Ultra. This rollout follows an earlier release in select regions of the Middle East and North Africa.
Security Enhancements and Installation Instructions
The January 2024 security patch addresses over 75 vulnerabilities within the Android operating system, including a critical flaw, 68 of high severity, and 6 moderate issues. The update aims to bolster system security and stability, enhancing the overall device performance. Galaxy S22 users can install the update by navigating to their device’s Settings, proceeding to Software Update, and selecting Download and Install.
