The game, priced at $24.99, supports cross-buy on PlayStation and Smart Delivery for Xbox, enabling players to purchase the game once and play it on multiple platforms.
Continuing the Adventure with New Threats and Allies
Building on the success of its predecessor, Freedom Planet 2 introduces gamers to a new antagonist, Merga, a Water Dragon with destructive ambitions for the world of Avalice. Players will navigate through 24 levels with familiar heroes—Lilac, Carol, and Milla—and a new addition to the team, Neera. The game promises a richer experience with more collectibles and refined gameplay mechanics.
Exclusive Console Features and Future Updates
Console gamers will receive an exclusive Boss Rush mode upon the game’s release, matching the update that PC players will also receive. This mode, found in the Battlesphere, challenges players to defeat a total of 34 bosses across two divisions, rewarding victorious players with a VIP room filled with series Easter eggs. More information on the update will be available in April.
