Polyphony Digital has unveiled a new update for Gran Turismo 7, which is set to enhance the gaming experience with fresh content. The update, scheduled to go live at 11 PM PST, is poised to introduce a trio of novel vehicles to the acclaimed racing simulator, diversifying the in-game garage for players.
New Vehicles Join the Gran Turismo Fleet
Among the vehicles making their debut is the sophisticated Genesis X Gran Berlinetta Vision Gran Turismo Concept, the rugged Suzuki Jimny XC ’18, and the luxurious BVLGARI Aluminum Vision Gran Turismo, which will become accessible towards the end of February. These additions offer players a range of driving experiences, from sleek concept cars to off-road capable machines.
GT Café Expands and New Challenges Emerge
The update also broadens the scope of GT Café with two new Extra Menus, catering to players of different Collector Levels. Nissan Motorsports-themed challenges await higher-level enthusiasts, while Dodge-focused tasks are set for mid-tier collectors. This feature continues to provide tailored goals and rewards within the game’s immersive automotive world.
Additionally, the World Circuits component will be enriched with the introduction of the Jimny Cup, as well as two new Vision Gran Turismo Trophy races set in Tokyo and Monza. These new competitive events are designed to test the skills of players across different terrains and speedways.
Moreover, the Scapes feature, which lets players photograph their vehicles in various scenic locations, will be expanded with two new picturesque settings. These include a multistorey car park in Florida and a service area in Kanagawa, Japan, providing even more backdrops for players to showcase their prized cars.
Gran Turismo 7 continues to be a flagship title for PlayStation, with availability on both PS4 and PS5 platforms. The game has received critical acclaim for its realistic driving simulation and extensive vehicle roster.
