Google’s upcoming Pixel 9 smartphone series is set to debut later in the year, and ahead of its official unveiling, renderings of the device have emerged. The images, divulged by Steve Hemmerstoffer (OnLeaks), provide a first look at the anticipated handset, showing off its aesthetic in a blue color scheme.
Design Evolution Showcased in Leaked Renders
The visual representation of the Pixel 9 indicates a significant departure from its predecessor in terms of design. A standout feature is the flat-edged contour of the device, akin to the iPhone 15’s design. Furthermore, the rear of the Pixel 9 is set to feature a reimagined camera module, which abandons the previous model’s edge-to-edge arrangement.
Camera Upgrades and Display Enhancements
The upcoming Pixel 9 is poised to introduce a protruding camera visor that houses a triple-camera system, a first for the base model of Google’s Pixel phones. This new setup is expected to include a telephoto lens among its three sensors, indicating a leap in the device’s photographic capabilities.
Insights into the device’s display reveal that the Pixel 9 will boast a 6.1-inch flat screen featuring a punch-hole camera at the center. The design is said to mirror that of the larger Pixel 9 Pro, which has also been leaked, sporting a 6.7-inch curved screen and differing slightly in its camera configuration.
