Blizzard Entertainment swiftly followed up a recent hotfix for “Diablo 4” with another update aimed at resolving persistent gameplay issues. This latest patch specifically targets the “Drums of the Vault” seasonal quest, which had been preventing player progression, and corrects a bug in the Enhanced Lightning Storm passive that was mishandling stack preservation.
Damage Adjustments and Player Concerns
In addition to the quest and passive fixes, the update brings balance changes and performance improvements. Notably, the open-world variant of the Son of Malphas now inflicts less damage with its roar attack, which had previously been lethal to players at full health, causing frustration especially among those in hardcore mode. These adjustments should alleviate such issues.
Feedback Monitoring and Anticipated Changes
Blizzard is actively gathering player feedback regarding the current season’s mechanics, which have drawn criticism for their trap focus and the perceived lackluster performance of the new Seneschal Construct. The developer is expected to address these concerns and implement changes in the forthcoming weeks, as the season has only recently commenced.
