Previously, ByteSnap Design independently developed IoT solutions tailored to specific industries. The new partnership with Particle marks an evolution in their collaborative approach, enabling the integration of advanced cloud services with robust embedded systems. This shift allows for more comprehensive and scalable IoT implementations compared to their earlier standalone projects.

What Are the Partnership’s Key Objectives?

The alliance seeks to combine ByteSnap’s expertise in embedded systems with Particle’s IoT platform to create comprehensive connectivity solutions. By integrating embeddable modules and off-the-shelf gateways with Particle’s services, the partnership aims to simplify the IoT development process, reduce deployment time, and enhance the scalability of connected devices across different sectors.

How Will the Collaboration Showcase Innovation?

At the upcoming Engineering Design Show (EDS), ByteSnap will demonstrate a novel application that integrates millimeter wave (mmWave) technology with Particle’s IoT infrastructure. The demo features a “spinning head” mechanism capable of tracking movement in real-time, highlighting the potential for non-invasive people and occupancy monitoring without compromising privacy.

What Future Projects Are Planned?

The partnership is set to initiate several joint development projects, including an IoT module designed to offer enterprise-grade security and seamless integration across various platforms and devices. These projects aim to provide robust, scalable solutions that meet the evolving demands of industries such as automotive, healthcare, and smart cities.

Graeme Wintle, Director at ByteSnap Design, said:

“By combining our deep knowledge of embedded systems with Particle’s cutting-edge IoT technology, we are poised to offer our clients unparalleled integrated solutions. This partnership underscores our commitment to remaining at the forefront of the development of connected devices that meet the evolving needs of our customers.”

The collaboration between ByteSnap Design and Particle is poised to deliver significant advancements in IoT technology, combining robust embedded systems with comprehensive cloud infrastructure. This partnership not only enhances the capabilities of connected devices but also provides industries with the tools needed to implement efficient and scalable IoT solutions. As the demand for interconnected devices grows, such strategic alliances will be crucial in driving innovation and meeting the complex needs of modern applications.
