Bungie’s recent communication highlights a forthcoming feature in Destiny 2 that will delight players by allowing them to modify the look of their Guardians without the need to commence anew. This eagerly anticipated feature will be available in an update that precedes the launch of Destiny 2: The Final Shape.
Customization Freedom for Guardians
The upcoming update promises unfettered freedom for players to alter their character’s appearance as they please with no incurred costs or frequency limitations. However, the game will maintain the integrity of the Guardian’s original race, forbidding changes between Human, Exo, and Awoken origins.
Enhanced Glimmer Capacity and Community-Driven Armor Design
Another major enhancement is the increased Glimmer cap, which doubles the current limit, allowing players to accumulate up to 500,000 Glimmer. This update, aiming to improve players’ quality of life, is scheduled to be implemented on January 30.
Lastly, Bungie reveals their development of new armor sets for the annual Festival of the Lost event. Two unique designs have been crafted for each class, with players granted the power to vote and decide which sets will be featured in-game.
