Naughty Dog has unveiled that the remastered version of “The Last of Us Part 2” will not only offer an enhanced gaming experience but also a documentary detailing the making of the game. Similar to the original game, which also had a behind-the-scenes look, fans will gain insights into the creative process of the sequel.
Documentary Premiere and Additional Content
Titled “Grounded II: Making The Last of Us Part 2,” the documentary is set to debut on February 2 and will be available for viewing on YouTube. Additionally, the remastered game itself will incorporate the documentary in an upcoming patch. This update is also set to introduce new skins for the game’s protagonists, Ellie and Abby, as confirmed by the game developers.
Remastered Version Receives High Praise
Critics have praised “The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered,” giving it a 9/10 rating. They highlighted the improved campaign, a new engaging roguelike mode, and various other bonuses that make the game a compelling revisit of Naughty Dog’s acclaimed title.
The remastered edition is currently available on PS5 and has achieved significant commercial success. It ranked third in the UK’s weekly physical sales chart and outperformed the previous year’s remake of the first installment, “The Last of Us Part 1,” by doubling its initial sales figures in the region.
