In the latest episode of Forza Monthly, Turn 10 Studios announced that the iconic Nordschleife circuit will be featured in the upcoming Update 5 for Forza Motorsport. This significant update, which is scheduled for release in February, will not only add the 20.83-kilometer track but also bring with it a host of game improvements and bug fixes to enhance the gaming experience.
Stabilization and Gameplay Enhancements
The update aims to resolve various issues, including game responsiveness when players return to Open Practice in Featured Multiplayer after resuming from a suspended state. It also addresses a bug causing the game to crash after skipping Practice upon exiting and re-entering an event. Additionally, players will now have the option to skip Practice directly from the pre-race menu in Career Mode, with the added convenience of saving their progress after completing Practice sessions.
Multiplayer and Event Adjustments
Further refinements include more precise projections for finishing positions in the Challenge the Grid and corrections to the Featured Multiplayer events at the Hockenheim circuit, where previously only three laps were available instead of the correct lap count. These updates are intended to provide players with a smoother and more realistic racing simulation.
Forza Motorsport is accessible on Xbox Series X/S and PC, with Update 5 poised to refine the acclaimed racing title further. The game has received positive reviews for its immersive racing experience, and the upcoming update is likely to bolster its reputation among gamers and racing enthusiasts alike.
