DXOMARK’s evaluation process has led to a score of 144 points for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, positioning it 18th globally. Despite its advanced hardware, it trails behind leaders such as Huawei Mate 60 Pro+ and Huawei P60 Pro in the camera performance rankings.
In DXOMARK’s analysis, the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s camera system exhibited shortcomings related to noise in shadow regions and photo and video corners, limited depth of field in group images, as well as inconsistencies with exposure and white balance. These factors have impacted its overall standing despite the device’s camera prowess.
Nevertheless, the Galaxy S24 Ultra has received commendations for producing vivid images with HDR display compatibility, maintaining accurate exposure in low light, achieving neutral white balance, and rendering precise colors in most scenarios. It has also been lauded for delivering fine details under bright lighting conditions.
Samsung’s pursuit of excellence in mobile photography is evident in the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s feature set. While it may not yet lead the rankings, the combination of high-resolution sensors and AI-driven processing signifies an important stride in the brand’s innovation journey.
