“We intend to keep [Twitch and YouTube] as things existing together,”

Aomi stated, emphasizing the coexistence of streaming and interactive engagement within Holoearth. The platform’s emphasis on instanced rooms and customization reinforces its blend of exclusivity and personalization.

Holoearth allows users to work with VTubers on original merchandise, which can lead to both digital and tangible rewards. The ability for fans and performers to earn royalties from clothing designs expands the usual monetization model.

“It’s a new ecosystem for fans to support their favorite VTubers that isn’t tied to donations on streaming platforms,”

according to Aomi. This business model aims to provide alternatives amid shifting dynamics on major streaming services, such as potential changes to revenue-sharing policies.

Accessing Holoearth is currently open, although attendance peaks during scheduled VTuber appearances. Instanced environments allow groups of over 50 users to gather at once, and these rooms are known to fill quickly.
