The Major League Soccer (MLS) Season Pass is now available on the Apple TV app for fans in over 100 countries, offering comprehensive access to live games, expert analysis, and additional content. The subscription includes all MLS matches without blackout restrictions, and features coverage of the Leagues Cup, MLS All-Star, and Audi MLS Cup Playoffs.
Second Year of Apple-MLS Collaboration
The partnership between Apple and MLS is entering its second year on February 21st. With the recruitment of Lionel Messi, the league has seen a surge in audience numbers. The Season Pass will also present a special program targeting Spanish-speaking viewers to mark Messi’s inaugural full season.
Apple’s Senior Vice President of Services, Eddy Cue, expressed satisfaction with the initial year of their partnership with MLS and is enthusiastic about enhancing the fan experience, especially with the anticipation surrounding Messi’s first complete season.
Anticipation for Messi’s Debut Season
Subscribers of the MLS Season Pass can look forward to Inter Miami’s preseason matches, including a game against Messi’s boyhood club, Newell’s Old Boys. This match is among several preseason games scheduled for broadcast before the season officially begins.
The 29th MLS season will start with an early kickoff as Inter Miami, the reigning Leagues Cup champion, plays Real Salt Lake. The opening week will feature a total of 14 matches, including a high-profile clash between LA Galaxy and Inter Miami.
Additionally, select Matchday 1 games will be accessible for free on the MLS Season Pass, allowing fans to sample the new service.
As of January 29, fans can subscribe to the MLS Season Pass at various pricing options, with special rates available for Apple TV+ subscribers. Full-season MLS club ticket holders will receive a complimentary subscription, which can be shared among six family members through Family Sharing.
