Unprecedented User Growth
Sony announced at CES 2024 that PSN had achieved a milestone of 123 million active users in December 2023. This number surpassed the service’s previous high of 112 million from December 2022, showcasing a consistent year-over-year growth.
Core to PlayStation Experience
As of June 30, the count of monthly active users was reported at 108 million, indicating a steady increase in engagement over the second half of the year. PSN’s importance is not only limited to providing a network for online and social gaming. Plans are under consideration to extend its features to include PC versions of PlayStation games, which could further enhance its user base.
