Pocketpair has released a significant update for the game Palworld, addressing several critical issues to improve player experience. This update includes fixes for game crashes, improvements to breeding farms, and adjustments to in-game mechanics that previously caused player frustration. The update aims to enhance the stability and functionality of the game, providing a more seamless and enjoyable gaming experience.
Addressing Game Stability and Save Data Issues
A notable fix in this update is the resolution of a glitch that resulted in game crashes when a guild’s quantity of captured Pals hit around 7000. The development team has also tackled the issue of double damage being inflicted on players in dedicated server and co-op modes. An additional enhancement includes a change to movement speed when players exceed weight limits, preventing the previously encountered extreme slowdown.
Improvements to Gameplay Dynamics
The update has also brought relief to Pals assigned to Breeding Farms as they will no longer suffer from hunger or have their assignments canceled. Fire spread in wooden structures now occurs at a reduced rate, and the problematic high-level Relaxaurus, which used to wreak havoc during raids, has been removed. Furthermore, players can no longer capture Pals belonging to others if their health falls below 30 percent.
However, while the update rectifies many issues, it does not resolve corrupted save files. The team is actively working on a permanent solution. Palworld is currently available for play on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms. Detailed patch notes for the update are available, covering major fixes, key configuration changes, player issue resolutions, and base issues.
Among the user interface improvements, players will now find it easier to assign key configurations, including support for mouse side buttons and numeric keypads. Camera positioning for several Pals has been optimized to enhance visibility when mounted. The patch also addresses various base management issues, ensuring that the management of Pals at player bases functions more intuitively and effectively.
The recent update to Palworld signifies Pocketpair’s commitment to refining the game, focusing on stability, player experience, and fair play. As the game continues to evolve, players can look forward to more enhancements and fixes that will make their adventures in Palworld more immersive and less obstructed by technical difficulties.
