In contrast, the latest offering by Sequans and Soracom expands the reach to over 170 territories, ensuring broader accessibility and flexibility for IoT deployments. New Evaluation Kits Offer Advanced Connectivity Solutions
The newly released evaluation kits integrate Sequans’ leading LTE-M/NB-IoT and Cat 1bis technologies with Soracom’s comprehensive connectivity services. This combination provides developers with reliable and efficient connectivity options necessary for a wide range of IoT applications. By utilizing these advanced connectivity solutions, users can ensure their devices maintain consistent communication across various networks and environments.
Available Variants Cater to Diverse IoT Applications
There are two distinct variants of the evaluation kits available: the LTE-M/NB-IoT Sequans Monarch2 GM02S EVK and the LTE Cat 1bis Sequans Calliope2 GC02S1 EVK. The Monarch2 GM02S EVK is designed for applications requiring low power consumption and a compact design, making it suitable for smart meters, industrial sensors, and fitness trackers. On the other hand, the Calliope2 GC02S1 EVK supports global LTE networks, ideal for connected vehicles, logistics tracking systems, and telematics.
Global Availability Enhances Deployment Flexibility
Each evaluation kit comes with a Soracom global IoT SIM card preloaded with connectivity for up to three months, covering more than 170 territories. This extensive coverage includes LTE-M in 51 regions and NB-IoT in 35 regions, providing developers with the necessary tools to manage and deploy IoT solutions on a worldwide scale. The kits also grant access to Soracom’s suite of connectivity solutions, which includes security features, data transmission services, and remote device management capabilities.
