As the release date for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth rapidly approaches, anticipation intensifies. Square Enix has recently teased fans with a glimpse into the eagerly awaited action RPG, including a thrilling new trailer and insights into the expansive world’s locations and the enhanced roster of characters.
Exciting New Locales to Explore
Among the fascinating settings to be explored is Starboard Junon, a residential area in the fortified city of Junon that boasts housing for Shinra employees, upscale shops, and eateries. The district is currently buzzing with preparations for the inauguration parade of Rufus Shinra. In addition, players will have the opportunity to embark on a journey aboard Shinra-8, a cruise liner traversing the planet’s hemispheres, which features a mini-game called Queen’s Blood in its itinerary.
New and Familiar Faces Join the Fray
In terms of characters, players will meet Elena, a new member of the Turks showcased in previous trailers, recognized for her prowess in hand-to-hand and firearm combat. Cait Sith also makes a return, a character beloved by fans for his moogle mount and advanced technological combat capabilities.
Additional combat images and those depicting the just-mentioned settings and individuals have been made available for public viewing. These visuals provide a richer idea of what players can expect from the game, including combat mechanics for Cait Sith and Yuffie.
