The company’s former Managing Director for India, Vimal Venkatram, has transitioned into a regional role and is currently stationed in Singapore, paving the way for Rai’s leadership.

Rai will be responsible for shaping the strategy, fostering sales growth, and ensuring successful business operations across India. Having previously held significant roles at Microsoft India, Rai brings extensive experience to Snowflake’s executive team.
His focus will span across critical sectors including consumer goods, manufacturing, public services, startups, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and the banking and financial sectors. Rai’s expertise will be instrumental in scaling Snowflake’s presence in these areas.
